IPhone finally announced, and seems to be a killer

January 9th, 2007

Honestly, I was doubtfull about the capacity of Apple to really re-invent the phone, and I must admit I was wrong. If the iPhone really fulfill his promise, it will be a killer phone…. Much better than all the iPods, a sooo good looking UI, and some incredibly good features! Really hard not to be excited by this one. Thousands miles aways of a boring Windows Mobile, or a bad looking Symbian phone…Just one word: congratulation!

The widget part seems to be quite good too…

Definitively pushing the barrier to the next level…. My first Mac might be a phone!

Doubting about Apple? There are maybe the only one company that could drive a mobile revolution…

Their job as always been to put users first and if there is a place were users are left behind everything is in the mobile industry! Mobile manufacurer and operator are hardware/network only guys, they are coming to the multimedia world because they have to and don’t understand it. Apple is the exact opposite.

That’s exactly the kind of UI that was expected according to patents from last years and all progress they made on OS X to establish a new step in UI metaphors.

I agree with both of you. This phone looks like a giant leapfrog from what we have today in terms of smartphones and other wireless devices. It’s totally exciting!
